“I chose this profession to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives, and I do not give up until I achieve that goal. I believe that the patient and their needs come first and foremost. I do everything I can to make that happen every day. After all, if I don't give my all for the patient who is putting their trust in me, how can I expect the patient to have a good outcome and improve their quality of life?”
Dr. LeAnna Escobar was born and raised in Sedan, Kansas. The oldest of 6 girls, she grew up on a sheep and cattle farm. She moved to Kansas City after living on the coast for a few years to be closer to her family. Dr. Escobar became interested in Hearing Health Care because of her family history of hearing loss. She also wanted to improve the quality of life of others.
She earned her Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) at Wichita State University in 2009. She has had experience working with most brands of hearing aids, cochlear implants and bone conduction devices. LeAnna enjoys working with patients of all ages; from birth to the young at heart! She has worked at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, FL; Driscoll Children’s Hospital in Corpus Christi, TX; at Hearing Lab Technologies (Liberty Hearing Aids) and with HearUSA.
When she is not working, Dr. Escobar spends time with her husband, Julio. She also enjoys playing with her pets, visiting with her neighbors, watching movies, and playing Xbox with her husband. Some of her hobbies include cooking, reading good books, and volunteering in the community.
